Documentation for re-enrolment or readmission

The documentation requirements depend on why you stopped your studies:

I withdrew from the programme

If you decided to withdraw from your previous study programme at SDU, you do not need to explain or document your decision.

If you studied at a different university than SDU, you must attach

  • a transcript of grades including all exam attempts
  • a confirmation of withdrawal  
  • programme regulations/course descriptions. 

If you withdrew from the programme at a time where you would soon have been withdrawn by the university anyway, you must follow the requirements below.

The university withdrew me from the programme

If the university withdrew you from your study programme, you must document that your chances of completing the programme have improved significantly. 

If you studied at a different university than SDU, you must attach

  • a transcript of records including all exam attempts
  • an overview of the courses you have registered for (if you are still enrolled) 
  • a confirmation of withdrawal with the reason for withdrawal, alternatively a confirmation of enrollment (if you are still enrolled) 
  • programme regulations/course descriptions for all courses, where exam attempts have been made or where exam registration has taken place
  • a written statement to explain and document how your chances for completing the programme have improved. Use this form: Form for written explanation.

If you are studying at SDU, you must attach:
