High-quality research in cooperation between University of Southern Denmark and county hospitals in Region of Southern Denmark and Region Zealand

Department of Regional Health Research covers research and education at the county hospitals and in psychiatry in Region of Southern Denmark and Region Zealand.

Research 

The research is performed by the employees at the county hospitals an in psychiatry ind the two regions. The researchers range in level from PhD student to professor. All health professional areas are covered. 

The research at the department is broad and comprises clinical, organisational, and educational aspects.

Am I an employee or enrolled?

As a PhD student, you are enrolled at the PhD School at the Faculty of Health Sciences with affiliation to the department/institute and research unit where your main supervisor is employed.

As a PhD student with a faculty scholarship, you are an employee at Department of Regional Health Research for the length of your scholarship. After that, you will be employed at your hospital or research unit. 

Regardless of where you are employed, you are considered an employee at SDU.
