This information comes from the SDU webpage
At least two months before the submission of the PhD thesis, the PhD student and their main supervisor complete an online pre-submission form, including:
- A summary of the thesis (maximum 2 pages)
- Suggested names for the assessment committee
The main submission process has the following steps:
- The PhD student uploads the final version of the PhD thesis into Pure together with the relevant attachments
- The SDU Library checks the thesis for plagiarism
- After any plagiarism issues are resolved, the SDU Library submits the thesis to the Graduate School of Health Sciences
- The thesis is sent to the assessment committee
- The SDU Library makes the PhD thesis publicly accessible in an online version on the Research Portal via Pure.
The required attachments includes a Declaration of Co-authorship that explains the extent of the PhD student’s own contribution to the articles in the thesis.
