My research focuses in the intersection between innovation management, big data analysis and consumer research. More specifically, I study how big data can be used for lead user identification in the innovation process. The importance of lead users for companies resides in the insights that they bring to the development of innovation processes, as well as the detention and prevention of problems related with products.
My intention is to develop different quantitative and qualitative methods for big data analysis, as Digital Anthropology, that can help to the identification of lead users. Overall, my goal is the exploration of how mixed methods can be used for extracting valuable knowledge for practitioners through the study of big data.
