Once the installer has downloaded, open it to install Zoom on your computer.

Check your computer and test your Internet connection
You are responsible for checking that your computer setup and Internet connection are working on the day of the interview.

- It’s a good idea to test your connection from the location where you expect to attend the admission test.

- Alternatively, you can make a test call via this test link: https://zoom.us/test
Here are some tips:
- Your download and upload speed should be at least 5 Mbps. We recommend that you test your internet connection with the Danish Energy Agency if you are located in Denmark.
- If possible, use a wired connection by plugging a network cable from your Internet connection into your computer.
- If you are using a wireless network (Wi-Fi), it is important that you are close to your router or access point.
- You may want to ask others in your household/others who are using the same Internet connection to refrain from streaming or otherwise burdening the Internet connection while you are taking part in the interview.
Requirements for your surroundings
When you take part in the online interview, make sure that you can sit alone in a quiet room.
It may be a good idea to use a headset with your computer.
Photo ID check; providing your PIN and phone number
Before the interview begins, you will be asked to show a photo ID. For instance, your passport or driving licence. You must provide your PIN. To find it, please see the Guidance section on the SDU Admission webpage Instructions. This is the same PIN you used for the UniTEST.
You will also be asked to provide your mobile phone number so that we can contact you in the event of technical issues during the interview.
The interview process
1. On the day of the interview, log in to Zoom using the Zoom link you found on the webpage sent to you by the Admissions Office. Here you can also see your sign-in time.
2. You will enter a Waiting Room. Please be prepared to have to wait. You will then be brought into the actual interview room in Zoom.
3. Upon entering the meeting room, use your webcam to identify yourself and show your photo ID (e.g. passport or driving licence).
3. Next, provide your mobile number in case of technical malfunctions. (All data will be subsequently destroyed.)
4. After your ID has been checked, the interview will start.
If you experience problems during the interview
• If you experience static or echo during the interview, this can often be alleviated by wearing a headset.
• If you lose your Internet connection and are disconnected during the interview, try to reconnect via the link to the Zoom interview. If you cannot reconnect to Zoom, we will try to contact you on your mobile phone.
It is your responsibility
It is your responsibility to ensure that your computer meets the technical requirements. You are responsible for checking that your computer setup and Internet connection are working properly, and that your power supply is working. We advise you to test that you have access to Zoom before the day of the interview.
