Contributions to the online measurement of electromagnetic spectrum by drones

Research Focus:

Mustapha's PhD project aims to develop cooperative guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) algorithms for autonomous drone swarms capable of performing efficient, accurate, and cost-effective in-situ electromagnetic signature analysis (EMSA) of large structures such as ships, aircraft, and vehicles. The research combines advanced control theory, signal processing, and multi-agent coordination to enable drones to collaboratively measure and map electromagnetic environments in real time.

Key Technologies:

Cooperative control, multi-agent systems, electromagnetic sensing, UAV swarm coordination, signal processing.

Applications:

Real-time electromagnetic mapping, infrastructure inspection, and environmental monitoring using autonomous drone swarms.
