QM Research Seminar: Feynman Integrals & (Hyper-)elliptic Curves

Abstract:
​Feynman integrals are fundamental to multi-loop scattering amplitudes and exhibit interesting connections to various areas of mathematics. For instance, beyond one loop, many Feynman integrals are associated with (hyper)-elliptic curves or Calabi-Yau surfaces. In this talk, I will provide a brief overview of (hyper)-elliptic Feynman integrals, illustrated with specific examples, specifically highlighting ongoing work on solving a family of Feynman integrals related to a genus-two curve.
