In this hands-on workshop, students are introduced to the world of programming through interactive activities and beginner-friendly exercises. Developed and delivered by software engineering students from SDU, the workshop offers a balanced mix of theoretical insights and practical coding experience.
Participants learn the foundational concepts of programming by writing their first lines of code, working with variables, exploring loops, and implementing basic algorithms. The session includes real-world examples and guided exercises using Visual Studio Code—an industry-standard development environment. By the end of the workshop, students will have built their own simple programs and gained a strong understanding of how software is created.
This workshop encourages logical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving—equipping students with essential digital skills and sparking curiosity in the field of computer science.
