Would you like to share your knowledge and work experience?
Do you have at least two years of business experience after completing your degree?
Carpe diem, become a mentor for an SDU graduate student! The process typically lasts from October to June and includes at least three meetings with the mentee.
An effective mentoring process
As a mentor, you can help the student:
- Gain insight into a particular industry, business or job function
- Identify the student's skills and qualifications
- Locate or expand on new or different opportunities
- By exchanging ideas and providing advice or counselling on job and career opportunities
Your role isn't about providing complete answers; it's about guiding the mentee onto the right path.
The meetings are agreed to by you and your mentee—at the mentee's request. They are typically held at your workplace.
