- Microphones and preamplifiers: Brüel & Kjær measurement microphones in 1", ½" and ¼" for free field and pressure field (including types 4191, 4189, 4165, 4166, 4133 and 4944A) with matching preamplifiers (2669, 2671, 2623) and microphone power supplies (Nexus 2690, 2803, 2804, 1480)
- Vibration measurement: accelerometers (including types 4367, 4374, 4332, 4334, 8306 and 8307), impedance head type 8001, force transducer type 8200, plus charge amplifiers, CCLD converter and integrator
- Calibration: pistonphone type 4220, sound level calibrators type 4230, accelerometer calibrator type 4291, calibration exciter type 4294 and apparatus for reciprocity calibration of microphones
- Signal generation and amplification: NTi Audio Minirator MR-PRO, function generators, measuring amplifier type 2636 and power amplifiers
- Hearing and psychoacoustics: ear simulator type 4157, screening audiometer, headphones, hearing protection and hydrophone
- Recording and analysis: digital recorder (Marantz PMD671) and PC-based recording and signal analysis
- The laboratory holds an extensive Brüel & Kjær collection that is being reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. Calibration status and availability of individual instruments are confirmed as part of the specific assignment, so you always know what the measurements can be used for.
