Artificial Intelligence in breast cancer screening – a qualitative analysis

Breast cancer is the most frequent form of cancer among women in Denmark, and breast cancer screening plays an important role in early detection. But there is a shortage of radiologists to assess the many mammograms. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is therefore being tested and implemented in several screening facilities to increase the quality of breast cancer detection and compensate for the lack of radiologists.

Colorectal cancer screening: Patient Pathways (CoPPa)

This project aims to cover and analyze personal and social factors which might influence how more than one-third of the target group in national screening programs for intestinal cancer choose not to participate. Because only a small proportion is actively against this form of screening, a higher participation rate should be possible, which would improve the prevention of intestinal cancer.

User diversity in health information systems

Health Information Systems (HISs) have become the primary means of achieving political goals and driving positive change in the health sector. User diversity is one of the major challenges for the effective use of HISs. However, the use of a newly developed concept of 'health capital' looks promising in terms of highlighting the construction of individual health in general and the interaction with users of HISs in particular.
