Partnerships

To enhance knowledge and possibilities for collaboration, SDU Galaxy is active in various external partnerships and networks. Below you will find a list of our activities within the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science:

Space Exploration Denmark

The vision is to make Denmark richer, healthier and smarter about the solar system and where we come from. Among other things, the partnership aims to increase and improve Danish participation in international space missions, inspire children and young people to embark on a science course, and gather and profile the Danish Space Exploration environment. 

The partnership brings together all forces within the Danish space environment within authorities, companies and knowledge institutions, including Mars scientists, space medics, medico companies, architects, satellite developers and robotics researchers under the name Space Exploration Denmark.

Partnership for Space-Related Education

Denmark will be among the leaders in applying space-based technology, knowledge, data and infrastruture as an educational resource at Danish universities. This partnership will work to realize this vision through collaboration across the Danish universities.

Science and Space Technology

The Danish engagement in Space-based science shall expand the knowledge of the physical properties of the universe and contribute to the understanding of the scientific worldview in virtue of excellent Danish research and technology.

The partnership creates the best possible framework for Danish scientists and private companies to strenghten the science settings in Denmark to implement the vision.

Partnership for Space in the Arctic

Due to SDU interest and our internal Arctic Research Network, SDU Galaxy is also represented in the new Partnership for Space in Arctic

Public and private actors (through the Partnership for Space in the Arctic) will create increased utility and value of new and existing space-based solutions and information in the Arctic, including creating a solid foundation for new space-based solutions for the region at both local, national and international level, contributing to continued sustainable development in the Arctic for the benefit of both the region and the Kingdom of Denmark.
