Malene Grubbe Hildebrandt appointed new vice head of department at the Department of Clinical Research
The management team at the Department of Clinical Research is being expanded with the addition of a new vice head of department for research and innovation.
The new vice head of department will contribute to strengthening the research and innovation strategies of the department, the faculty, and Odense University Hospital (OUH), working closely with departmental leadership and the Faculty of Health Sciences.

The position as vice head of department is part-time, corresponding to 20% of a full-time post – equivalent to one working day per week. Malene Grubbe Hildebrandt will take up the role on 1 September 2025.

The Department of Clinical Research already has a strong academic profile in both research and innovation, and I look forward to working closely with colleagues and management to further develop these areas and build strong partnerships.
The management team at the Department of Clinical Research consists of head of department Rikke Leth-Larsen, head of department secretariat Malene Korsholm, and viec heads of department for education Karin Dieperink and Hanne Lindegaard, and now also Malene Grubbe Hildebrandt as vice head of department for research and innovation.
