Background: Master’s degree in Web Communication, BA in Information Science, and a teacher qualification for primary education.

I am particularly focused on helping teachers create the most effective blend of online activities and in-person teaching to support student learning in line with SDU’s underlying principles for education.

I see generative AI as a catalyst for rethinking how we design teaching and assessment at the university. Together with colleagues at SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning, I actively work to bring generative AI into focus across faculties through our various professional development initiatives.

I am also curious about developing and designing flexible and engaging formats for competence development —from self-paced courses to learning circles—ensuring that SDU CTL can provide the best possible support for staff development across the university.

When I provide support, it is either through one-on-one guidance or by facilitating workshops that focus on designing engaging learning paths to foster collaborative online learning and the use of video in teaching. My workshops often include a preparatory element—similar to a flipped learning approach—where participants can study materials independently before we meet, either in person or online. Activities are based on work-related tasks and active learning through hands-on exercises in a relevant context, ensuring participants leave with concrete ideas they can apply in their own practice.

I also facilitate learning circles at SDU, where groups of five teachers engage in an action-based process to develop and test initiatives in their teaching. Teachers have responded very positively to this collegial and practice-oriented development format.
