Background: Biologist. I have always been teaching throughout my career and today I focus on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.

My main interests include laboratory teaching, informal learning environments, teaching methodologies, educational development, and development of programmes in higher education. I take a broad approach to didactics, drawing on perspectives from teachers, students, and external stakeholders. I am passionate about exploring ways to diversify teaching methods to enhance learning.

I provide support in various ways:
I have developed resources such as SDU’s method catalogue, assisted teachers with exercise classes, contributed to programme development processes, and supported onboarding for new teachers. These resources are available on SDU Centre for Teaching and Learning’s website under Resources.

I offer courses for new staff and student instructors, as well as continuing education programmes on educational development and laboratory teaching. My consultancy work ranges from one-on-one guidance for teachers to thematic workshops, collaboration with local consultants, and strategic discussions with the faculty on teaching-related challenges—from policy decisions to implementing specific initiatives.

Additionally, I support networks such as the Science Education Hub and serve as a link between practice and educational research, particularly through the USE project.
