Project description |
International studies show that professionals working with survivors of child-abuse are at high risk for experiencing secondary traumatic stress and burn-out. Knowledge is lacking in a Danish context and in terms of what factors that influence the development of these experiences. This project is an industrial PhD undertaken in collaboration with Children Center South under CONTEXT. The purpose is to identify risk-profiles for the development of secondary trauma and burn-out. These profiles will inform recommendations to reduce secondary traumatisation and burn-out among professionals working with survivors of child-abuse. |
