Assistant Professor Elias Ribeiro da Silva has been appointed coordinator of the international Supply Chain 4.0 Network

The mission of the network is to foster collaboration on fundamental and applied research related to Supply Chain Management in the context of Industry 4.0.

Supply chain is constantly evolving to deal with new challenges of global and interconnected stakeholders, and new approaches and technologies have been introduced to cope with them. To connect a team of researchers around the world able to deal with these emerging challenges in an in-depth and multidisciplinary way, an international initiative started in 2016.

The ‘Collaborative Research Network on Supply Chain 4.0’ – or the ‘SC4 network’ as often called – is an organization that focuses on fostering collaboration on fundamental and applied research on Supply Chain Management in the context of Industry 4.0. Currently, the network has 31 active members from 22 universities in 8 countries.
