About SDU Microelectronics

SDU Microelectronics pioneers ultra-low-power chip designs tailored for smart sensors, neuromorphic AI, and biomedical systems. By fusing cutting-edge electronics with spintronics, quantum technologies, and intelligent edge devices, it drives innovation across healthcare, advanced sensing, and next-generation computing.

Research

SDU Microelectronics focuses on aggressively lowering the energy consumption of integrated electronics using device and circuit co-design. The main research focus of this group includes biomedical IC design, e.g., brain implants; brain-tech computing, e.g., neuromorphic computing; energy harvesting, e.g., battery-less IoTs; and memories, e.g., spintronic memories.

Cooperation

We welcome a wide range of collaboration opportunities, from student projects at Bachelor’s and Master’s level to involvement in larger research initiatives. In addition, we offer possibilities for consultancy work and maintain a strong interest in partnerships with industry.
