Keeping in line with the two UN sustainable development goals 7 and 12, material flows related to future installed photovoltaics were investigated, and compared with global reserves for these materials. In order to do this, material intensities for some key future photovoltaic technologies were analysed, as well as forecasted amount of photovoltaic installed on a yearly basis.
