In the technical audiology research area, we do research for improving hearing testing and hearing rehabilitation. We also do register studies where hearing and occupational health are central parameters.
Our partners are primarily Danish hospitals, the industry, and other universities.

User-operated audiometry (UAud)
This project develops a setup for user-operated hearing tests to be used in the clinical practice. The purpose is to free up time for clinical staff and to improve the treatment of hearing loss with hearing aids. Before implementation, the setup is evaluated in a clinical trial, where patient benefits and satisfaction following hearing aid treatment are investigated.
