A prime example of our activities is PerformanD, an Interreg 4a project where we developed a set of sensors and embedded software for monitoring Dinghy Yacht sailing parameters. In cooperation with our partners at the Yacht Research Unit of the University of Applied Sciences in Kiel, who were in charge of data evaluation in terms of training, we succeeded in obtaining an extension of the PerformanD project from Interreg in order to commercialize the product.
PerformanD won a Danish-German innovation price sponsored by Flensburg Innovativ e.V, the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation and the project “Düppel 2014”.
