Danish participation in IEA DHC Annex TS4 ‘Digitalisation of District Heating: Optimised Operation (and Mainte-nance) of District Heating and Cooling Schemes via Digital Processes Management’

Project Description

The main goal of IEA DHC Annex TS4 is to promote the opportunities of the integration of digital processes into district heating and cooling systems and to clarify the role of digitalization for different parts within the operation (and maintenance) of the district heating and cooling system; offer insights on how digitalization impacts the district heating industry, system suppliers, showcases the current state of the art, identifies barriers and presents objectives, targets and recommendations.

The Danish participants cover the activities and areas of: Digitalization and big data driven business model innovation and value creation; Fault prediction, detection, and diagnosis in DH systems; and Knowledge transfer and dissemination of the above two tasks.
