Guest speakers Doina Bucur and Sarvapali Ramchurn

On January 6th Doina Bucur from University of Gronningen and Sarvapali Ramchurn from University of Southhampton guested University of Southern Denmark.

Doina i an assistant professor within the research fields of:

  • Embedded system software analysis and verification

  • Software-based methods for behavioural fault detection and recovery

  • Methods for the development of correct and intelligible context-aware embedded software

  • Correct-by-design code synthesis for sensor platforms

  • Network protocol design and analysis

Doina gave the speak: Energy saving in greener buildings and gauging energy-related user preference in Dutch testbeds 

Sarvapali holds an academic position in Agents, Interaction and Complexity and has an interest i the following research areas:

  • agent-based computing

  • argumentation-based negotiation

  • bargaining

  • coalition formation

  • multi-agent systems

  • negotiation, trust
