Programme structure

The Masters programme covers two years of studies on top of a bachelor of science in engineering - or bachelor of engineering degree in Electronics, or another relevant bachelor degree.

At the programme you will be educated in two disciplines: Embedded Electronics and Communications.

Imagine the tiny, powerful systems that make your smartphone smart, your car safer, and your home appliances more efficient. These are embedded electronics, the hidden gems of modern technology. They are designed to perform specific tasks within larger systems, often working behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly.

In this master's program, you'll dive into the fascinating world of embedded systems. You'll learn how to design, develop, and implement these specialized systems, exploring topics like Accelerated AI, Chip Design, and hardware-software co-design. Through hands-on projects and collaborations with industry experts, you'll gain practical experience and a deep understanding of how to create robust and efficient embedded solutions.

By the end of the program, you'll be ready to make a real impact in various fields, from consumer electronics to automotive, telecommunications, and healthcare. You'll have the skills to tackle the challenges of designing and optimizing embedded systems, ensuring they meet the high standards of performance, reliability, and power efficiency.

Think about how you can instantly connect with someone halfway across the globe, stream your favorite shows, or received sensory data wirelessly. These everyday marvels are made possible by telecommunications systems, the backbone of our connected world. They enable the transmission of data, voice, and video over vast distances, ensuring seamless communication and information exchange.

In this master's program, you'll explore the dynamic field of telecommunications. You'll learn how to design, develop, and manage advanced communication systems, diving into topics like wireless communication, network protocols, signal processing, and antennas. Through hands-on projects and industry partnerships, you'll gain practical experience and a deep understanding of how to create reliable and efficient telecommunications solutions.

By the end of the program, you'll be equipped to make a significant impact in various industries, including mobile communications, IoT, and satellite communications. You'll have the skills to address the challenges of designing and optimizing telecommunications systems, ensuring they meet the demands of speed, reliability, and security.
