Programme structure

A minor change has been made in the education, and will take effect per. February 1, 2022. The education lasts 2 years divided into 4 semesters. In the 3rd semester, there have been two academic profiles, where the students had to choose one of the profiles. These are ‘Power Electronics’ and ‘Embedded Systems’. The two profiles have now been merged, so that all students gain knowledge, skills and competencies within both areas that are in high demand and relevant for engineers in Electronics. The 3rd semester will therefore in future consist of two common compulsory courses ‘Power Electronic Systems’ and ‘Advanced Programmable Electronics’ as well as electives, where students can immerse themselves in various topics depending on interest. The change will not have any effect on the education's competence profile or the graduates' career opportunities, as the education will continue to be strong within the two subject areas. The new curriculum will be available on the website as soon as possible.
