- Through multiple projects and international partnerships, EOM has delivered prototype digital twin models for hydrogen and PtX value chains. These tools support strategic and operational decisions on plant design, production planning, and energy integration – ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, and scalability in green energy systems

Enabling decarbonization of global shipping

- EOM contributes directly to the green transformation of maritime transport, addressing an industry responsible for ~2–3% of global CO₂ emissions and ~80% of world trade. 

Key contributions include: 

• Digital and data-driven optimization of shipping operations
• Condition monitoring and predictive maintenance for onboard equipment and energy efficient ship operations 
• Development of just-in-time port call solutions
• Co-creation of technologies supporting reduced emissions and improved cargo logistics

EOM leads a strategic Denmark–Australia research partnership on green hydrogen value chains, bringing together leading universities and industry actors.
