Courses within Engineering Physics

Within the field of engineering physics, we offer one course which you will find more information about below.

Please check the individual course descriptions for possible prerequisites and note at which campus/location the course is offered.

Cubesat 101

The main objective of the course is to introduce the students to the concept of new space and CubeSat mission thereby allowing them to follow a career with in the space industry.
In the course the students will be introduced to the basic concepts of designing, building and operating a CubeSat.
The course is part of the Danish Student CubeSat Program (DISCO), but participation in DISCO is not a requirement for taking the course.

Introduction to Nanophotonics and Quantum Materials

This course provides an introduction to the theoretical and computational tools used to model and understand the behavior of light in atoms, quantum systems, and materials structured on nanometric scales—comparable to or smaller than the free-space optical wavelength. The course bridges electromagnetism, quantum mechanics, and quantum optics, highlighting how these frameworks converge in modern photonics and nano-optics.
