What does the programme lead to?

With a Master's degree in Computational Biomedicine from SDU, you will be attractive to the job market, both in Denmark and internationally. Your knowledge and skills will prepare you especially for jobs in the healthcare sector.

During your course of study, you will gain expert knowledge within the bioinformatics field. This expert knowledge – combined with competencies in programming, modelling, application of software, data analytical methods, statistics and algorithms – will make you a coveted employee. Graduates with a Master's degree in Computational biomedicine have an unemployment rate of only 1 %.

With a Master's degree in Computational Biomedicine, you can be employed in hospitals and use your knowledge in biomedical and clinical areas and work with analyses of especially very large data sets. You can also get jobs in pharmaceutical and biotech companies.

The education gives you a professionally broad profile, which means that you can also apply for jobs where you use the computer science skills you acquire. For example, you could be employed as a software engineer in the IT and robotics industry.
