EUD empowers users of software systems, who are acting as non-professional software developers, to create, modify, and/or extend software in a wide range of domains. Our contributions in this research line have been primarily in EUD for cyber-physical systems such as robots and drones. We use constructive and empirical research methods to develop and evaluate new languages, techniques, and tools to support both end-user programming and end-user software engineering in these domains.
