What happens after you have applied to SDU?

  1. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been registered.

  2. You can follow your application in the self-service system sdu.dk/admission, but you don’t have to do anything while you wait for the answer.

  3. You will receive the decision on your application at sdu.dk/admission. You will only be offered one student place, regardless of how many programmes you have applied for. If you are not offered a place on any of the programmes you have applied for, you will receive the rejection from the coordinated admission system in your email.

  4. If you are offered a student place, you must confirm your admission via sdu.dk/admission by 3 August to secure your place. The admission is only final once you have confirmed your student place.

  5. Explore the Danish culture, social life at SDU and find the guides to what, when and how when you are moving to Denmark. Learn more about moving to Denmark.

  6. Before your studies begin, you will receive information about the study start, orientation days and introduction days. Please note that orientation days and introduction days may be held before study start, so make sure to check the dates. Learn more about study start.
