Read article 03.02.2025 Drones, biology, and AI: SDU researchers test groundbreaking technology in Kenya On the savanna in Kenya, a group of researchers from the SDU UAS Center is currently conducting fieldwork alongside other drone researchers, biologists, and computer vision experts from across Europe. As part of the research project WildDrone, they are gathering knowledge about animal behavior and the potential of drones for conservation. The flights are carried out in collaboration with Kenyan partners and may improve efforts to protect species such as rhinos.
