The Center for Sustainable Business Development and Policy was established in 2021 and is part of the SDU Business School at the University of Southern Denmark. We conduct research on a wide range of business development themes in close collaboration with actors across the business support system.
Our mission is to rethink business development so that future initiatives contribute to the economic, social, and environmental bottom lines of both society and individual companies. We therefore believe that business development should increasingly be viewed within a broader societal context and developed across policy areas.
We work to strengthen the links between the business support system and the national innovation system, and we aim for business development initiatives to be increasingly rooted in the networks, clusters, consortia, and ecosystems of which companies are a part.
At the core of our work is the ambition to create new business development alliances that can develop, test, and implement new tools and methods in practice. To achieve this, we work in an interdisciplinary manner and across professions, actors, and sectors.
