At Structures Lab, your company can document load bearing capacity, material strength and safety in new and existing structures. We test materials and components from buildings, bridges and other load-bearing structures whenever you need to assess their actual condition before renovation, conversion, service life extension or reuse.   • Do you need to renovate a building, bridge or other load bearing structure, or expose it to new loads? Then you need to know its actual load bearing capacity. At Structures Lab, we test materials and structural components and document their strength and deformation properties.

  • Structures Lab is located at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Campusvej 55. The laboratory is part of SDU's technical laboratory facilities and belongs to the research environment for Civil and Architectural Engineering.

  • Price and terms depend on the task. Costs depend, among other things, on the experimental setup, laboratory consumables, measuring equipment, analysis, and hours from researchers and technicians.
