
In order to obtain a grant from Aase and Ejnar Danielsen's Foundation, your research project must fulfil the foundation's purpose, which is:
"To support non-profit, charitable, and humanitarian activities, primarily in the form of support for research and further education in the fields of medical science and social science and in the field of building research."
Applications are processed within two to eight months, and decisions are made at the foundation's Board meetings, which are held five times a year.

The foundation does not support:
- Contributions to academic staff salaries and personal salaries, including salary compensation during PhD studies
- Graduate programmes and similar
- Study trips
- Residential courses
- Congresses
- Personal purposes – including scholarships
