The Doppler Anemometry Lab is dedicated to laser-based point measurement techniques for flow and particle/droplet characterization. The laboratory hosts advanced Doppler-based optical diagnostics, with a particular focus on Laser Doppler Anemometry and Phase Doppler Anemometry.

Research focus

The research activities in the Doppler Anemometry Lab focus on high-fidelity velocity and particle/droplet measurements in gaseous and multiphase flows. The laboratory supports detailed investigations of flow structures, turbulence, particle-laden flows, sprays, and droplet dynamics.
