Circular economy enabled by textile-to-textile recycling and circular business model strategies

This project focuses on circular economy in the textile industry by enabling textile-to-textile recycling and exploring new business model strategies. The PhD project aims to explore if using recycled and local bio-based fibres is a viable option from a circular economic viewpoint. The project covers textiles used in fashion, workwear, and interior product design. It seeks to bridge the gap between material-driven design and innovative circular business model strategies. This research is part of the Innovation Fund Denmark project READY, in collaboration with 13 partners from academia and industry covering actors from all stages of the textile value chain.
