The collaborative hospital – effects of organisational forms for quality and well-being

 Prof. Peter Hasle

Hospitals constitute one of the most complex organisational forms in contemporary society. The cooperation and coordination across professions and organisational units are crucial for efficient operations to the benefit of patients, society and the well-being of staff.

The project maps the organisational forms in two university hospitals in the Capital Region of Denmark and link them to outcomes in the form of, among other, patient satisfaction, employee absenteeism and well-being.

The project results will provide new evidence about the organisational forms to which can be used for advancing collaboration in hospitals. The project is carried out in collaboration with the Capital Region and the National Research Centre for the Working Environment.
