Research Unit of Psychiatry, Odense-Svendborg

We are an interdisciplinary research environment dedicated to advancing psychiatric knowledge and improving clinical care. Our research ranges from fundamental studies of brain development and neuroscience to clinically embedded research that directly informs practice. We focus on adult autism and ADHD, addiction, aging and dementia, as well as affective disorders, schizophrenia, and psychosis. Our work draws on a range of methods, including epidemiology, neuroimaging, stem cell and molecular psychiatry research, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, clinical trials, and implementation research.
