The Research Unit of Respiratory Medicine (PLUZ, SUH) is one of the multidisciplinary research groups anchored at two locations: Zealand University Hospital in Næstved and Roskilde.
PLUZ aims to improve the lives of patients with lung disease, and our core area is individualized and patient-friendly diagnosis of suspected lung or pleural cancer. In addition, we research follow-up and palliative care for lung or pleural cancer, as well as new pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for asthma and COPD.
Who are we?
We are currently a team of one Professor, three Senior Researchers, three PhD students, three Research Nurses and one Professor's Secretary.
