The unit seeks to be recognised for its patient-centred research. Our focus is on improving treatment for patients with vascular diseases, both through clinical studies and the use of new technologies. Our main research areas include the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis, amputation-preventive interventions, and the diagnosis and treatment of venous thrombosis and wounds.
