Update from the REACT project: Final phase and upcoming materials
The REACT project is nearing its completion, and the partners gathered in Groningen to plan the release of learning materials and strategic guidelines. At the same time, the evaluation of the project's efforts in the four participating countries is ongoing, aiming to provide insights into the results of REACT's work.
Last week, the REACT partners held an important status meeting in Groningen, organized by the Healthy Ageing Network Northern Netherlands. The meeting emphasized that the project is now nearing its conclusion after three years of intensive work.
In Denmark and the Netherlands, the groups have completed the workshops for frontline workers and volunteers. These workshops have been crucial in testing and demonstrating learning materials on how digitally challenged citizens can be best supported. In France and Portugal, the final workshops are still being held.
Publishing and Dissemination
For the remainder of the project period, the focus is on how materials and experiences can be best published and disseminated to make them easily accessible and useful for all relevant stakeholders. The learning materials will be available in all project languages on the REACT website, along with other valuable resources. Among these will be a strategic development guide that provides practical advice on how the REACT approach can be implemented organizationally. This is particularly relevant for frontline workers and care providers who need to apply the methods in practice.
Evaluation of the Effort
The remaining project period will be used to evaluate the efforts in all four participating countries. The aim is to gain a better understanding of how participants have experienced the support from REACT volunteers and the results the intervention has achieved.
Materials from the project will be made available continuously, and you can stay updated here on the REACT website.
