IoT-Building-Cloud is a software tool suite for large-scale deployment of IoT sensors in buildings. It consists of a Cloud solution and a mobile app that supports an automatic configuration process for installing IoT sensors. IoT-Building-Cloud is used in two building living labs, the MMMI building at SDU campus in Odense and the Library at UNITEN campus in Malaysia.
Theories behind the IoT-Building-Cloud tool:
- CELSIUS: an international project providing integrated, systematic, cost-effective large-scale IoT solutions for improving energy efficiency of medium- and large-sized buildings
- A QR code based framework for auto-configuration of IoT sensor networks in buildings
