Visiting PhD Blanca Luz Foliaco Romero presented her work "Lumped Moving Boundary hybrid falling film evaporator model for dynamical simulation of centrifugal chillers" at CEI seminar (Remotely)
On the 15th of December 2021, CEI initiated a seminar (remotely) and visiting PhD Blanca Luz Foliaco Romero presented her work that has been done over her Fall visiting at CEI. At the seminar, Blanca presented a hybrid moving boundary model of an evaporator used in a centrifugal chiller cycle. The model was developed and simulated based on the open Modelica modeling language to predict the performance of centrifugal chillers by changing geometry or input temperatures. And the main goal of the model is to obtain the pressure drop along with the cooling power in a hybrid falling film evaporator.
