  • A master's programme for working professionals is a continuation of a bachelor's degree programme or a professional bachelor's degree, just like a regular master's degree.

    The difference is that you work in a relevant job alongside your programme of study, so in most cases the master's programme for working professionals lasts longer than a traditional master's degree programme.

    There are different types of master's programmes for working professionals and in the future, more programmes will be offered as master's degrees.

  • A master's programme for working professionals provides the same academic title and competences as the corresponding regular master's degree programme.

    A master's programme for working professionals often allows for more flexibility and allows you to establish or maintain a connection to the labour market while studying. Graduates with a master's programme for working professionals will often have the opportunity to continue in the same company after the programme of study.

  • As an international student at SDU, you may be required to pay a tuition fee. The tuition fee covers educational expenses such as courses, academic supervision, exams, and diplomas.

    Who is required to pay tuition?

    • Non-EU/EEA students enrolled in full degree programmes
    • Guest students whose studies are not part of an exchange agreement

  • As part of the master's programme for working professionals, you must have a job that is relevant to your programme and related to the academic content and your learning objectives.

    You'll be working actively to link tasks in the workplace to what you learn on the programme of study, so it's not just a student job.

  • As a general rule, you are not eligible for SU when you are studying a master's programme for working professionals. As a part-time student, you are not eligible to receive SU, as you receive a salary from your job.

    However, on the industrial master, you can apply for SU for the part of the course that is full-time (the first year).
