Entry requirements

Academic requirements

To be admitted to a Master's programme for working professionals you must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree, Professional Bachelor’s degree, or another degree at the same level. You can read about the specific requirements on the individual pages of each programme.

When you apply for admission to a Master's programme for working professionals, only your Bachelor’s degree will be taken into account. If you have passed other degrees or courses after you completed your Bachelor’s degree, these will not be included in the assessment of whether you fulfil the entry requirements.

If you do not fulfil the entry requirements, you may be able to take supplementary courses.

It is a requirement that you have a relevant occupation. You can meet the occupational requirements in three different ways. You can either:

  1. Be an employee of a relevant public or private enterprise with a minimum working week of 25 hours on average

    or

More details concerning the occupational requirements and how to document them can be found here.

Meeting the requirements is no guarantee for admission

There are a limited number of study places in our Master´s programmes for working professionals, which means you are not guaranteed a study place even though you meet the entry requirements. If there are more qualified applicants than available study places, the highest qualified applicants will be selected. More details about the selection criteria can be found on the individual pages of each programme.

Language requirements

When applying, you may have to prove your proficiency in either English or Danish, depending on the language of instruction in the programme you apply for. You can read about our language requirements here.

Already have a Master’s?

If you've already obtained a Master's degree, you can only be admitted to a new programme if there are vacant study places in the programme. The general rules about this are the same as for full-time Master’s programmes. You can read more about these rules here.
