Find your way to SDU Sønderborg

SDU Sønderborg is located in the stae-og-the-art Alsion building right next to Alssund. On this page you can see how to get to SDU Sønderborg and find information about parking and public transportation.

SDU Sønderborg is located in the impressive and state-of-the-art Alsion building, which also houses Videnspark Alsion, Erhvervsakademi SydVest, a concert hall and Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester. The building is also located next to the beautiful Alssund.

SDU Sønderborg is also housed in Campus Alsion Løkken. SDU shares this campus with Business Academy Southwest. Here you will find a number of offices and rooms for teaching.

SDU Sønderborg also has a collaboration with Europa-Universität Flensburg, making it a very international university.

Parking rules

  • Parking in the car parks at SDU is free of charge. It is important that you always orientate yourself via the signs posted wherever you park.

    The regulations on the signs take precedence at all times, and there are spaces that are reserved and where special conditions for registration apply.

  • The parking regulations will always be stated on the signs. It is recommended that you always orientate yourself by the signs. It is always your own responsibility to park correctly according to the regulations.

    • You must always park in a parking bay. This also applies to gravel areas, where parking spaces will be marked with wooden posts - you must park with a wooden post on each side of the car.
    • It is not allowed to park on grassy areas.
    • It is not allowed to park on fire roads.
    • Driving on footpaths or cycle paths is not permitted.

    Parking conditions at Alsion are the responsibility of Ejerforerning Alsion.

  • Loading and unloading is accepted if the breakdown light is switched on. However, no more than 30 minutes.
  • Disabled parking spaces are signposted with "H". Parking is only allowed with a valid disabled parking card. On the map below you can see where the disabled parking spaces are located.

  • Please note that there are not many parking spaces in Munketoft.

     

  • Munketoft:

    Classrooms are located in the building by the car park.
    The Danish programme administration is located on the 1st floor of the newer extension in room 112.

    The main building HG Campus Universität Flensburg:

    The main building HG is located on the left side.
    Teaching usually takes place on the 2nd floor.

  • Public transportation

    Arriving in Sønderborg by public transport?

    Just opposite SDU Sønderborg is Sønderborg Station. Both trains and buses stop here, and from there you have a two-minute walk to the campus. If you are travelling to Campus Alsion Løkken, it is possible to take a bus. We recommend that you check Rejseplanen for timetables to and from the university.
