Collaborate with students

SDU Jobbank

SDU Jobbank is your company's shortcut to collaboration and recruitment of students and graduates from SDU. To use the job bank, you need to create either a recruiter or company profile. Read below what kind of profile suits your needs.

You need to have a profile to use SDU Jobbank. If you have already created a login and have a profile, you can log in here. You can choose between two types of profiles:

1. Company Profile (recommended)

This profile is for you, who...

  • wants to have a permanent presence in the jobbank with a page that represents your company to the students, even though there is no available posts.
  • expects to make five or more yearly posts of either student jobs, full-time jobs or paid internships aimed at engineers or journalists.

A company profile provides:

  • Access to create postings for free and thereby expose your company to the students.
  • The opportunity that your company profile is being attached to events you participate in, and which are aimed at students, e.g. career fairs.
  • The opportunity  for students to follow your profile and keep updated on new posts, or events where they can meet you.

Please note that it requires a bit more to create and maintain a company profile, but it also provides greater exposure and more opportunities for your company.

2. Recruiter Profile

This profile is for you, who...

  • at most makes four posts yearly of either student jobs, full-time jobs or paid internships aimed at engineers and journalists.
  • primarily posts project-opportunities (master, bachelor tasks, and project-based courses (unpaid internship).

A recruiter profile provides:

  • The opportunity to, in a limited extent, make all kinds of posts for free in SDU´s Jobbank.

Your company only appears in postings and does not appear elsewhere on SDU Jobbank.

The company profile ensures that your company is exposed to all users of SDU Jobbank, and the profile will appear in the company overview - even if there are no active postings. The profile allows users to read about the company and choose to follow it.

When they follow your company, they automatically receive notifications if you post opportunities or participate in an event.

How to do it

When you create a company profile via the Danish link, you can make a profile in Danish. Once the Danish profile is created, it is possible for you to create multiple versions of the same profile in other languages. If the company profile should only be in English, you need to use the English link here to create the company profile.

  1. Fill in all the information and use the "Create a company" button at the bottom of the page.
  2. Then the account must be confirmed, and the account is now temporarily activated. You will receive an email from Jobteaser containing a link that you must click on to confirm the new company account. This must be done within a week.
  3. Now the profile must be finally approved by SDU: Once the company profile is created and the account confirmed, the company profile is sent for approval by SDU. It may take 1-2 days after the posting is uploaded for it to be approved and visible to students. During holiday periods, it may take a little longer.

How to create a posting in the job bank

1. Go to recruitment module in SDU Jobbank
2. Log in or create a profile (follow the 3 steps)
3. You can now create job postings, projects, and internship postings as well as manage the postings you may have already created. Postings must be approved by SDU, which is why it may take 1-2 days after the posting is uploaded for it to be approved and visible to students. During holiday periods, it may take a little longer.

Use the job bank as a recruitment platform

When you create a posting via the job bank, you can choose whether applicants, by clicking on the posting, should be forwarded to your own recruitment system, whether their application should be sent directly to an internal email address, or whether you want to use the job bank's recruitment module to handle applicants.

Tags: Attach tags and give extra visibility to your posting:

  • No Danish Required: For postings that international students can apply for
  • Engineering Internship: Postings aimed at the 20-week diploma engineering internship
  • Project-Oriented Courses: For company-based electives (a form of internship that must be approved by the university)
  • Start-up: If the company making the posting is a startup.
  • Campus Cities: If the postings are targeted at students in specific campus cities

Visibility

There is the possibility to get even more visible with add-on purchases on the platform. Contact Jobteaser to hear more. If you post more than 4 student jobs, internship applications or full-time jobs,  you will be contacted by Jobteaser for further add-on purchases.
