Collaboration

The research unit is anchored at IRS Hospital Sønderjylland and is part of Department of Regional Health Research (IRS) under the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark

Collaboration with the Medical Research Unit (Clinical Associate Professor, Jan D. Kampman) regarding the use of high-sensitivity troponin T assays in dialysis patients, interpreted in the context of heart disease.

Collaboration with the Niko Hildebrand Lab, McMaster University, Canada, regarding novel cardiac troponin assay methods and a new method for detecting erroneous results in column agglutination tests.

Department of Regional Health Research and University of Southern Denmark

IRS can be seen as a network consisting of nearly 300 researchers in over 50 research units, each with its own research leader. The research units are anchored at 12 hospitals in the Region Zealand, Region of Southern Denmark, and Capital Region of Denmark.
