Highly Cited Researchers

Four SDU researchers among the most cited

Clarivate has published the 2022 report of the most cited researchers from all over the world in web sources. This year, SDU researchers from the Faculty of Engineering and the Faculty of Health Sciences are among them.

Four SDU researchers can be found on Clarivate's (Web of Science) 'Highly Cited Researcher' list for 2022.

The criterion for appearing on the list is the authorship of a significant number of recently published scientific articles (2012-2022) which have been highly cited.

This year, researchers Asbjørn Hróbjartsson (SUND), Kannan Govindan (TEK), Sergey I Bozhevolnyi (TEK) and Devika Kannan (TEK) have made it onto the renowned list.

The researchers rank among the top 1% in Web of Science, a global database for researchers' citations. The citations are categorised by year of publication and field of study.

The annual report of 'Highly Cited Researcher' has been published since 2001. Since then, eight SDU researchers have been added to the list - several of them many times: Sergey Bozhevolnyi (Physics), Donald Canfield (Biology), Asbjørn Hróbjartsson (Medicine), Kannan Govindan, Devika Kannan and Peter Sigmund (Engineering) and Kim Brøsen and Lars Gram (Pharmacology).
