IT and STEM in focus

At SDU Vejle, we focus on advanced IT, computer science and AI. SDU Vejle is founded on an innovative collaboration across business, university and government, with research and study programmes firmly rooted in academic tradition and experience.

New campus - built on experience

SDU Vejle is the newest of SDU's campuses, but it is built on many years of experience with collaboration, teaching and research of the highest international standard.

After graduating, our students will possess skills within advanced programming technologies – skills in extremely high demand, locally and globally. We do not just teach the tools. Our students will acquire a deep understanding of the foundation of hardcore IT.

By 2032, we expect SDU Vejle to host more than 1200 Danish and international students and more than 90 academic staff members and congratulate 300 talented and sought-after graduates every year.

Timeline for SDU Vejle

2025 The Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science approves 8 new study programmes.

2025 SDU establishes study programmes and research environments with strong business partnerships and research based education.

2026 The first students at SDU Vejle begin their bachelor's programme in AI, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Interactive Technology Engineering.

2028 The first master's students are admitted to the new master's programmes.

2030 The first master’s students graduate from SDU Vejle.
